With so many amazing photo locations—from urban icons to natural havens—Singapore is a photographer’s dream, offering limitless inspiration and capturing opportunities around every corner. The following travel & photography guide will show you the best photo locations in Singapore.

When To Go To Singapore?

Best time to visit Singapore

Singapore is right above the equator, so it has a tropical climate all year. This makes it a wonderful place to visit any time of the year. However, the best time to visit Singapore is typically between February and April, when the weather is mostly dry and there are plenty of sunny days ideal for exploring and taking pictures at Singapore’s numerous outdoor photo spots. In these months, the humidity is a little lower, and it rains less often, so the skies are clear and perfect for taking pictures of famous places like Marina Bay, Telok Blangah Hill Park, Gardens by the Bay, and Fort Canning Park.
Due to the monsoon season, it rains more from November to January, but the rain usually only lasts a short time, so there are lots of things to do afterward. If you want to take pictures in a city with clear skies and lots of life, plan your trip between February and April.

How To Get Around Singapore?

Best ways to get move between photo locations

Singapore has a fantastic public transportation system that makes getting around simple and cheap. The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) is one of the best ways to get around the city because it has long lines that connect all the main sights, such as Jewel Changi Airport, Little India, and Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay. People from all over the world love the MRT system because it is quick, clean, and safe. Buses are a cheap and convenient way to get to places the MRT can’t.
For extra convenience, tourists can buy a Singapore Tourist Pass that lets them ride buses and the MRT as much as they want for one, two, or three days.
There are also numerous taxis and rideshare services that can quickly transport you to your destination, albeit at a higher cost. The MRT is still the best way for most tourists to get around Singapore quickly and easily between all photo spots.

Jewel Changi Airport is a beautiful place to take pictures because it combines nature with modern architecture. The Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, is the centerpiece. It falls seven stories through the lush Shiseido Forest Valley. This beautiful scene, which is even more mesmerizing at night, makes a wonderful background for striking photos. There are many terraces, sky bridges, and walkways around the vortex that let you take pictures of it from different angles.
