Borgarfjarðarhöfn is the perfect place to photography puffins. You can come so close to them. Since a short time, there is a hideout, which is a bit warmer than outside. Especially nice if you are in pre-season there. You will be asked for a donation of 1000 isk to enter the hideout, but it is worth it.

This Hengifoss picture we shot with the DJU Mavic 2 Pro on a cloudy day beginning of June in Iceland. The edit of this shot was done in Camera RAW 11 using different features. You can see in the Before / After view that contrast was added, and local adjustments were made. Mainly the red stone layer was highlighted, and some light spots were added. Hope you like the result.

Stokksnes is a beautiful location which is easily accessible from the ring road. The piece of land is private therefore you are requested to pay entry fee (currently 800 ISK) at the Viking Café. If the café is closed, you can buy your ticket via a vending machine directly at the entry to the Viking Café. You can scan the entry ticket to pass the barrier with your car.
